UCare

UCare, the fourth largest health plan in Minnesota, has a longstanding commitment to building health care cultural competence in the communities we serve. Nationally, UCare has been recognized with a Community Leadership Award from America's Health Information Plans for implementing a Hmong research and outreach project to help bridge the gap between Hmong health care beliefs and western medicine. UCare is pleased to support the Culture Care Connection project and Web site to help providers across the state provide more culturally sensitive and appropriate care to our members.
